Mozilla Firefox

  • Open the Mozilla Firefox browser
  • Select the menu button and choose Options
  • Select the Privacy panel
  • Select Show advanced settings
  • In the Privacy section, select Content settings

In the Tracking section it is possible to modify the following settings:

  • Tell sites that you do not wish to be tracked
  • Inform sites of your willingness to be tracked
  • Not communicate nay preference related to the tracking of personal data

In the History section  it is possible to:

  • Accept third-party cookies (always, from the most visited websites, or never) and to conserve them for a defined period (until they expire, until the closure of Firefox or be asked each time) from the Use custom settings for history section
  • Remove single stored cookies

Internet Explorer

  • Open the Internet Explorer browser
  • Select the Tools button and then click on Internet Options
  • Click on the Privacy tab and in the section Settings move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies, then select OK

It is also possible to select the sites from which to obtain cookies by:

  • Clicking on Sites
  • In the Address of website box, type a web address and the click on Block or Allow

Safari 6

  • Open the Safari 6 browser

  • In the section Block Cookies specify how Safari should accept cookies from other websites
  • In order to visualize which websites have stored cookies, select Details

Safari iOS (mobile devices)

  • Open the Safari iOS browser
  • Go to Settings and then Safari
  • Tap Block cookies and choose from the following options: Always allow, Allow from Websites I know, Allow from Current Websites Only, or Always Block
  • To cancel all cookies from Safari iOS, tap Settings > Safari > Advanced > Clear History > Website Data > Remove all Website Data
